Plants instead of flowers?

You may have seen on my social media that I am making the move from a more traditional wedding florist to one that specialises in Plant Hire. I have always used succulents in my bouquets but for me this isn’t enough. I am tired of all of the waste from tradition weddings and want to make a change.

What is plant hire though and why would you want it for your wedding? Plant hire is literally that, hiring plants to decorate your space instead of flowers. Imagine instead of flowers on an arbour you have tall palms and ferns surrounding it to give a lush tropical feel. Or instead of flowers on your tables using small plants to bring the outside in - I can’t wait to show you more on this soon. Watch this space!

A week after I posted about the change I was delivering Ashlea’s native burgundy bouquets, featuring burgundy succulents that looked just like flowers! Before I left to head to the venue she said ‘Make sure you have a look at our plant setup!’. Upon arriving at their property I was in awe. Everything I had imagined for my business was there in front of me - stunning plants in terracotta pots decorating their ceremony and venue. It looked natural, it looked lush, it was STUNNING.

These plants are all Ashlea and Reeces plants! is it not the most incredible collection?
