Barrett Lane Monochrome Wedding

It’s always special creating wedding flowers but it’s even more special when you get to create them for friends you have know for what feels like a lifetime.

Easter usually involves eating way too much chocolate and time with family but this Easter looked a little different. We still did those things, but it also included Toby & Tayla’s stunning wedding at Barrett Lane in Perth’s Swan Valley.

We were away in Jurien Bay so our day started early, driving back to Perth to check on the flowers I had kept in a cooler from a few days before. Luckily, everything still looked perfect so I just had to add a few finishing touches to the bouquets before it was time to deliver them. From there, we headed straight to Barrett Lane to start setting up the flowers and creating the stunning arbour & aisle flowers. We quickly rushed home to get changed then back in time for the wedding.

Luckily the amazing Leanne from Oborne Weddings and her team were on hand to move the huge arbour inside after the reception to become a frame for our stunning view from the venue and backdrop to the incredible dessert table.

The highlight of the night? Toby’s Dad walking into the reception playing the bagpipes which i’m sure brought a tear to everyone’s eye, then again when he pulled out his bagpipes during the reception for his ACDC solo!

Congratulations again Toby & Tayla x
